Check authorizationThe COVID-19 vaccine is now available to everyone New York residents 12 years and older . People who live outside of the state but work or study in New York (paid or unpaid) can also get vaccinated. People who are 12 or 17 years old are only eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Moderna and Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccines require two vaccinations to be fully effective. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a smartphone app called V-safe that reminds you via SMS that your second vaccination is due.
