'DuckTales' Finale Written by Alumni Airs on March 15th, 2021

The final season of DuckTales , a series co-developed by Alumnus and produced and written by the Co-Executive Francisco Angones '11 and written by alumni Robert Snow '10, Christian Magellan '10 and Rachel Vine '06, ends with a 90-minute series finale that will air on March 15, 2021. The Disney XD series had three seasons, with the final episodes beginning before the finale today, February 22, 2021.

The comedy adventure series records the high-flying adventures of billionaire Scrooge McDuck, his great-nephews - Huey, Dewey and Louie - and spirited nephew Donald Duck, as well as Launchpad McQuack, Mrs. Beakley and their granddaughter Webby.

The show was nominated for 8 Daytime Emmys in its three seasons from 2017 to date. DuckTales is a reboot of the original series of the same name from 1987.

Francisco Angones received his MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts and was an alumnus of the Warner Brothers Television Writers ’Workshop and Comedy Central Summer School Program. He served as a story editor at Disney XD’s Wander over there for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. His other works include Men at work , Disney Channels Austin & Ally and the independent comedy Common friends . Angones began his career writing on-air promos for Comedy Central.

Robert Snow is a writer, director, editor, and producer best known for Star against the forces of evil , Murder of a cat , New girl , Bill is my dog , Strange , Convenient distance , First day of peace , and The workout . He wrote, directed and also produced the short film Hare which premiered at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.

Christian Magalhaes is an employee of DuckTales Restart. Magalhaes worked on shows like Star against the forces of evil , and New girl . He wrote and produced the short film The workout , which won the 2008 audience award at the Columbia University Film Festival. He was also an associate producer on Bob Snow's short film Hare and co-wrote the film Murder of a cat with snow .

Rachel Vine is a Los Angeles-based freelance screenwriter with credits to animated programs such as DC Super Hero Girls, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, Wander Over Yonder, Dawn of the Croods , and Doc McStuffins . She helped develop the development Rainbow british 2014 restart of mini-series for Hallmark, writing of all 3 episodes. She is currently the showrunner of the animated show The owl house .
