The virtuoso violist Kyle Armbrust and the charismatic multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily present a program of solo and duo works that highlight the dazzling talents of both artists. The Miller-commissioned Song for Flint, written especially for Armbrust by Vijay Iyer and premiered earlier this season, receives an encore. Bring a friend, grab a drink, and take the stage at the Miller Theater for free pop-up concerts with some of today's most interesting artists on select Tuesday evenings. Pop-up concerts start at 6 p.m. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis and the doors open at 5:30 p.m. No tickets required. Arrive early to guarantee your seats on the stage. Pop-up concerts are heavily supported by the Dow Jones Foundation.
